My daughter saw Dr Cheung this week to discuss problems with her digestive system. She was a little anxious before the appointment, not knowing what to expect. I was very impressed by the way Dr Cheung addressed both my daughter and myself, which immediately put us at our ease. He was friendly, respectful and understanding and did not put us under any pressure to hurry up or curtail our answers because of pressures of time. We both felt able to speak freely and ask any questions that we needed to. I could see that my daughter was relaxed and being 'herself'. The issues around my daughter's condition were explained clearly and at a level we could understand, without being overly simplified. Both my daughter and myself left the appointment feeling positive, confident, informed about treatment choices and happy with the whole experience of visiting Dr Cheung at Evelina Children's Hospital.
