This Consultant is top grade/maybe even the best. The way I was treated as one of her patients was the best I have ever experienced, bot myself and my wife were under her care. We were both admitted with COVID . I respect this Lady very highly, the concern she has for her patients appears to go above what would be expected. Her interaction with patients ( bedside manor) is second to none, I believe her care of me was the best experience ever in an NHS hospital. The downside of my stay was in the last few days she was replaced by another doctor, who in my opionion was a million miles away from the experience with Catherine Elmer. The downside was because of the P.P.E. she had to wear, I was not able to see her full face . I feel that the other consultants could improve thier patient care if they had treaining from her, I experienced interaction with other doctors and consultants whilst I was in Hospital, and quite frankly they were not even 10% of the care that Dr Catherine Elmer shows . If there is any possibliity of reccomending her for consideration for any awards that you have for staff, I would have no hesitation of asking for hewr name to be put forward. She is as Tina Turner sings "SIMPLY THE BEST"
