This doctor ruined my life, she prescribed a medication for me ( Mirtazapine ) and did not inform me at all about its side effects. I have been suffering for two years with my weight and body image. and it is all written in my medical history. She gave me the above-mentioned mediation without reading my history or even telling me about the side effects. I was cycling and I got dizzy and blurry vision, and then I called the 111 because of a worsened situation. I was sent an ambulance and then was told to stop that medication as it is not helping me. I went through hell to get off it and experienced horrible withdrawal symptoms. The worse is that I gained 17 KGs because of it and two years of my life were demolished. I slept hungry many days, went to the gym for countless hours to lose the weight. and managed to get down to 80 KG from 100 KG over two years. and this doctor just because she was soo lazy to explain side effects and read medical history she destroyed my life. there are no gyms at the moment because of lockdown and my depression is more worsened at the moment because of my body image issues that were triggered because of her. Do not trust this doctor. you should ask to be seen by someone else if she contacts you.
