Terrible doctor, refused to vaccinate my child for the flu even though he has severe asthma and a very long medical history of it but didn’t bother to check just told me to go private if I wanted it! Not once but twice I have found this doctor very rude and unhelpfull!

I chose Dr Herderson because I had seen her before and was very practical, caring and helpful. On this occasion I was met straight away by a defensive doctor who clearly very unhappy and again I apologised and explained why I was 8 minutes late! I do understand the issues they have at the minute but patients also often have issues that are unavoidable sometimes. I have had to wait up to an hour for some appointments in the past but I understand that it happens and wait my turn. This was my first time to be late for an appointment. I had to give her a very brief and incomplete history of the issue I was having. So without completely understanding the full issue or history she referred me and then told me I had to leave and I could not ask her about anything else! I left extremely stressed and crying as it took me so long to get the time and appointment to see this doctor. I do not feel at all confident about seeing this doctor again. I felt that she really didn’t care at all about me and my well being and if I felt that way I can only imagine how vunerable patients who have no alternatives must feel. I feel miserable and upset and I don’t think anyone should feel that way when trying ask for help.

She is very thorough and a great doctor.
