I had the lucky fortune to meet this wonderful person and her husband on the roadside of A11 on Sunday 15th JULY 2018. Dr Bronya Gorney was not at work but with her family having a relaxing well earned day off. My partner had a very serious sudden heart condition, I had pulled into a layby didn't know were I was and had called the emergency service and struggled to give my current location as I was in a panic and very concerned for my love one. While I was still on the phone talking to the emergency services I flagged a car down, which stopped to help me. She kindly gave the location, and requested after telling me that she was a Doctor to check Peter (my partner) which I thankfully agreed. Bronya then talked to the emergency services and told them he needed to be blue lighted urgently. The support she gave me was outstanding and had the kindness to phone me to check how he was and gave me some reassuring advice. Peter is home now after having spent a short time at the hospital. If I have not of met Bronya I question if I would be sitting enjoying my quality time with Peter. How can you thank someone enough for this, also the concern her husband showed this family is the pride of Brittan and we both wish you and yours all the happiness in the world. to use the words of Tina Turner your simply the best. Thank you your speed knowledge and kindness saved Peters life you are my hero. Kathy and Peter

I just want to give my thanks to bronya , for what she done for us ,on her day off ,how she looked after me , at the roadside on the A11 waiting for an ambulance to turn up ,I can’t put into words how bronya conducted herself in this horrible situation,and fully supported my partner,( I want to personally thank this great doctor ) thank you.

This is the BEST doctor I have ever meet.. I am a grumpy demanding patient who really doesn't rate many doctors but the Winchester Surgery is Excellent .. And so are all the other GPs..
