Drs aren't God, so when they're not immediately able to find the source of an illness, they shouldn't pass of a child's presentation as psychosomatic and make ludicrous assumptions about abuse. This can cause parents who lacks knowledge of the system, to become scared of reporting their kids symptoms. Investigations should be had, and the child be referred to a specialist. My child was offered counselling as treatment. Luckily I didn't accept this. He's now under the care of a specialist team which has since change our lives for the better. When drs aren't sure, they should admit to patients that they're struggling and not give the wrong diagnosis.
