Prof Sharrack was the most disinterested medical professional I've met. He may be renoun for his research into MS but there's a big difference between research and clinical care.
I've had ongoing neurological issues and migraines for months but as a neurologist covering general neurology he didn't suggest any advice or refer me to other specialists because my issues aren't clearly diagnosable on a MRI.
I saw professor Sharrack privately for a neurology appointment. I was most disappointed with the outcome and feel it was a waste of money. I have been treated for over 10 years at another hospital for an on going neurological disorders. Dr Sharrack dismissed my diagnosis but didn't care to elaborate what he thought I did have making me rather confused. He said he would refer me for further testing but instead wrote to my GP for him to do it. All in all it was not the outcome I had expected. I would not recommend him.
