At 40 i thought my asthma was well controlled but needed an inhaler everywhere I went , I even had a special pocket made for salbutamol inhaler into my triathlon suit as I coundnt get through a race without a chuff . I became ill, chest infection went to pneumonia and hence met Dr McCann. Not only did she get me better but completely changed my life. Now as a paramedic I should know better, but she nailed down my asthma was not controlled and put me on a new drug. For five years now I have not needed a salbutamol I don't even have an in date one now. I feel fitter now at 45 than ever in my life. My last lung function was amazing . Just wish I'd had this Doc many years ago . Her care was amazing.
