I was transferred over to this Rheumatologist after my then doctor left. Right from the start she made me feel like I was imagining things and had nothing wrong with me, even asking at one stage why I ever thought I had RA despite it being diagnosed and treated by my previous doctor. All treatment and support was removed after my first appointment, which included Rheumatology Nurse. When joint scans showed damage, she stated it was just severe wear and tear and probably due to high impact sport, despite being only in my early thirties and never doing any strenuous exercise. Finally she stated, that she was giving up and would start me on immunosuppressive medication and then was surprised when they worked. Never listens to anything said and disregards everything with statements such as, “maybe you should see about starting antidepressants.”
