Audrey has supported our 15 year old daughter and ourselves for the last year via video link, helping us to understand what our daughter's challenges are and what she needs. At times Audrey gave us information/recommendations that were hard to hear but this was always in the best interests of our daughter and although we may not have always agreed at the time, we came to understand that Audrey's insight, experience and training meant she was invariably right in her assessment. Through Audrey's diagnoses and recommendations, our daughter has made major steps to be able to cope with her challenges and we are extremely grateful to Audrey for this. As working parents, we have found that Audrey always tries to arrange our meetings at convenient times for us which has made this process easier.

From the beginning, Dr Oppenheim's communication has been clear and direct. She has guided us along every step of our journey with our disabled daughter - from initial diagnosis, through the EHCP process to prescribing and monitoring her different medications - and has done so with our family's best interests at heart. She has used her experience and expertise to to advise us on the most appropriate courses of action and the result is that we have a happy daughter who can take advantage of her full potential. Dr Oppenheim advised us on the right education setting for her and the most suitable medication. She still continues to offer our family support through regular video catch-ups and we thank her for the incredible impact she has had on our lives.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Oppenheim if you are looking for a diagnosis or help/advice. We sought her advice over our late teenage son and the possibility of him having ADD which had never been picked up on in school. We can therefore only comment from an adolescents perspective and we both feel our experience to have been a good one. People have commented on cost, for us it worth every penny.

After reading the below comments I was worried about the care my daughter may receive. I can 100% say that the reviews below did not apply to us at all - Audrey was professional throughout all appointments she was great with my little girl when we met face to face too. I felt listened too and my concerns were addressed! Thank you Andrey!

Audrey was completely unprofessional, uncaring and judgemental of my very vulnerable child. She didn’t turn up for meetings or was very late if she eventually did come to a planned meeting. She prescribed my child anti depressants then months later of taking the tablets, after a heated phone appointment she would not issue another prescription. We were forced to go to our GP to resolve the issue we informed the doctor of the situation, they agreed that Audrey had not managed my child’s mental health and prescription and had in fact been neglectful. Colleagues of Audrey that we had saw also commented on her unprofessionalism and neglect. It is disgusting that camhs liverpool still has person working with vulnerable young people knowing about the amount of complaints people have made. We know of other families who have also experienced Audrey’s lack of empathy and understanding towards their children. As a parent of a child with mental health issues she offered no support and caused more upset and distress to me and my child. i would not recommend and would be weary of Audrey, i also would advise not to let your child or young person speak to Audrey without you being present. We are no longer under camhs we are under our GP and ypas. We would recommend going down this route and avoiding Audrey.
