I have worked with Dr Gupta for 23 years. He is the perfect colleague. An internationally renowned specialist in neuroanaesthesia and intensive care he works mostly in the NHS at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge but has also looked after my private patients at the Cambridge Lea. When I am operating I can concentrate on the surgery in the sure knowledge that my patients are safe in his hands. He is cool and calm in a crisis and has a great bedside manner putting even the most anxious people at ease. I know who I want to anaesthetise me if I should need to have surgery.
