I think Dr Samy is great. She listens to her patients and I have had many positive feedbacks on the care and treatment she gives. I wouldn't want to work for anyone else as she has been very supportive and we work great together.

We had arranged a zoom call but ended up doing a phone call assessment, it would have been preferable to have zoom as I find it is always a bit easier to speak about mental health conditions (or doctors in general) face to face either electronically or personally. The phone call did make it difficult to understand some of the questions and wondering if my expressions and or actions would have helped in the assessment? However she was very professional and non-judgmental (which was vital). There was a degree of diagnosis and a treatment plan i.e. admittance, but not many details of what this actually means, more detail would be helpful as most impressions I have of 'rehab' are based on television and films.

Dr Sami is the very thing I needed. She takes the time to listen to you and hear your opinion on how you want to deal with your mental health. Which is rare, normally when you’re ill people want to tell you how to get better. Where dr Sami, advises the best option but also listens to what you want and how that makes you feel. I would not be here today without her. She has been my life line, and I will forever be great full for that.

Dr Arokia Sundari Antonysamy (Just Dr Samy) as I and I am sure many others call her, to use the word "outstanding", would be an understatement! I would need to revise the dictionairy to find a better word. How has she helped me? To put it bluntley I am an odd ball all round, have always been, and will most likely always be. Dr Samy understands my struggles with alcohol addication (thats right I'm a recovering alcoholic), but not just that she understands how my brain ticks and how I work. She has helped me on so many occasions and under her treatment I feel that I can excel and live a normal happy life. Don't get me wrong, she cannot cure my addiction, I have to put the work into that, and yes there have been good times and bad, but I always feel I can be honest with her. She diagnosed me with ASD a few years ago, and she hit the nail on the head. I have also cross addicted previously from alcohol to Benzo's. She helped me through this. I know I am giving a lot of personal stuff away here, but I don't mind, because if someone can read this and it helps them make the choice to reach out to her, then the way I see it, its another life saved. Thank you Dr Samy. Daniel Grimwood
