I met Dr Jacob in 2015. At that time I was on two crutches had severe diplopia as well as lots of other symptoms. NMOSD had been suggested as a possible cause and so I had asked to be referred to Dr Jacob as an NMO specialist. From that time onwards I have not looked back. I felt and still do listened to, I have a better understanding of my condition and because I have a better understanding I feel I have gained some control back from what is and still is an unpredictable illness. Dr Jacob is a great source of knowledge. He takes the time to explain things and he cares about his patients and wants the best outcome that he can get for them. I never once doubted that he wanted that for me and I have gone from strength to strength under his care. I have also been able to join in and attend the patient information days organised every year and this has also been a great source of support. I trust him implicitly
