After being under a Gastroenterologist at my local hospital on and off for a number of years and not being given any proper diagnosis for my digestive symptoms, I was finally fortunate to get a referral to Dr Emmanuel. Like some of the other reviewers, I also was nervous about going to see him. However, he completely put me at my ease and I found him to be a good listener, who was interested in my symptoms and gave me hope of finally getting to the bottom of what is causing them. Dr Emmanuel is a Neurogastroenterologist and it was like a breath of fresh air to be seen by a Doctor who I felt thinks outside the box, who takes any neurological conditions into account that could be affecting the G I tract. He is quietly spoken, so you have to listen to him carefully. I wish I had taken someone with me, as I had trouble remembering everything he told me and take all the information in. I have, however, confidence and faith in Dr Emmanuel, after years of suffering from digestive problems. He has arranged for me to have some tests done, so I am hopeful that I might start to get some answers and treatment.
