For an early appointment in morning I wouldn't have expected the doctor to be so stressed. I was in the consulting room for about 5 minutes. I do think she needs some time management help or stress counselling. I did not feel she had any sympathy or empathy with me as a patient having a check up with a chronic condition. I had received a call and also a slip with my recent prescription asking me to make an appointment. So I duly made an appointment. Dr Douglas inferred that I must have received a letter asking me for an annual check, which I had not. She didn't believe me. Does she realise who is paying her salary? I went to her sometime ago when I was depressed. I found her difficult then but assumed it was because I was quite unwell. I am well now and have left that job which was causing the depression. However my experience on this appointment was so negative that I would never go to her again.
