I was pleased Dr Duckworth invited me to give a review; "good or bad". That shows a willingness to listen and learn. I have been a patient of Dr Duckworth for nearly ten years. I have found Dr Duckworth always to be responsive to my requests and he has appropriately referred me onwards on a number of occasions. He is professional in his manner and processes information very efficiently. This can be a little off putting at times but I understand GPs are very busy people with a lot of patients to see so they can't spend time chatting. Some chat, however, can be part of a good 'bedside manner' and this can make a difference to how relaxed the patient feels. I have always found other staff (reception and nursing staff) at the Meads to be very efficient, helpful and friendly. The new medical centre is a comfortable and pleasant environment with a pharmacy adjoined and only five minutes walk from my home!
