Dr Duckworth is an astonishing physician, mild mannered kind generous natured, sharp as a pin and insightful. When I approached him in 2011 I was suffering with appalling mental health difficulties and a variety of pain which many might deem exquisite. What did he do? He took personal interest ensured that I was referred to the best people he knew, I was seen swiftly and at any stage I could refer back to him. On many an occasion when my own resolve failed I could always rely on his to help me through what were awful dark days. Now yes many many Dr's are good people however to put him in perspective another Dr pretty much accused my of being a morphine addict looking for a cheap high. This non judgemental Gentleman though has looked beyond external appearances and due to him and the rest of the team at the Meads I am in work and holding a job down successfully for the first time in years; to put his efforts in perspective there were those who didn't think I would be able to get back to work for another 30 months.
