I have a long and chequered past with cardiology problems. Was admitted twice in past 9 months to Basingstoke for heart attacks. Cannot recommend Dr Bishop highly enough. He is patient, caring, kind and has bent over backwards to help me.

It is almost 3 years since I suffered my heart attack and has a stent inserted by Dr Bishop at Basingstoke hospital. I was visiting my daughter in Andover from Northern Ireland at the time and had no idea I had a heart problem and all indications did not point in this direction. However blood tests revealed the problem and I cannot speak highly enough of the swift and effective treatment I received from Dr Bishop and his medical and nursing team. Dr Bishop guided me through the stent insertion procedure in a way that made me fully relaxed and confident I was in very safe hands - in fact it was fascinating to see his skills at work at first hand. Thanks to this fine gentleman I enjoy continuing good health and have the pleasure of seeing new grandchildren growing up fast. Thanks for all you did for me Dr Bishop despite interfering with your haircut that Saturday afternoon. The nhs should be proud to have a doctor like you. Jim harvey

A fantastic consultant who goes above and beyond to help his patients. His ability to take a step back and look beyond the obvious has been greatly appreciated and with great results.
