I am writing this review in my capacity as a trainee in psychiatry. I have known Dr Tocca when I was a CT1, he covered my educational supervisor when he was off sick for few months. I found him very accessible and he was very aware that I had just started my Training and supervised me very well. He took me to see patients in the community and involved me with treatment and management of patients, I thought he was an excellent supervisor. I had also done few WPBAs with him and he was one of the teachers in MRCPsych course, I think he is an excellent teacher. During the last 6 months I have been working in Bede wing at STDH at a CT3 level, although my supervising consultant was different I worked with Dr Tocca during on call and when I covered his SHO. I found him very helpful. In general amongst the psychiatric trainees here at STDH he is a very popular consultant psychiatrist and he is very accessible.
