Oh dear. For years I've avoided Dr Childs because of her failure to listen, arrogance and overbearing, bossy approach. During that time I've been pleased with the other doctors I've seen at Thameside but so many have come and so many have gone and needing an appointment at a particular time all that was on offer was one with Dr Childs. I told myself it would not be too bad, over time she would have mellowed and surely now after all that has been written here she would listen and she would be more concerned with me rather than obsessed with herself. How wrong I was. I was barely in the room before she had decided what was wrong without asking me. I sat, got little opportunity to say anything and eventually left without anything being resolved and I can safely say Dr Childs still has no idea why I went or what was wrong as she didn't ask and when I tried to speak, didn't listen. I think the only solution to this overall is to register elsewhere which is a pity because I can see Thameside from where I live but so long as Dr Childs remains there as the rotten apple in the barrell then it's a practice to avoid.
