Years later I discovered she had read out the wrong letter - one sent to the surgery a year prior; Saying I had been discharged from medical investigation with no findings, and was deemed somebody who resisted a psychological explaination for asystematic muscle wasting. Infact I receding the current letter would have told me I was welcomed back for investigation - as I had believed was the case. While Reive blithy told me otherwise - and I was thought mad - which was crushing.
It was later discovered (by myself essentially) but confirmed by CT to be a large tumor wrapped around my cervical spine.
She listened to my distress and complete confusion when read the apparent "verdict" after 16 months of muscle wasting and investigation, and retired soon afterwards - maybe she knew she made an error and though I would return to the surgery at some point. But I began to neglect the symtoms, I have been told I will soon die.
