I have been her patient since Jan 12 2015 when she had the task of informing me that I had and still have incurable metastatic prostate cancer. She told directly without hesitation and I knew I was going to get along with her. She has an excellent Oncology team who work in the same sympathetic and honest way and engenders trust amongst them and in her patients. I think it is sufficient to say that not only would I entrust my life to her - but I really have done so. Thank you Dr Alison & team. David Butler. Aged 70. Incurable but she tells me not terminal (I do tease over the semantics of terminal/incurable) and determined to help my relationship with the team and nurses last for a very long time - with great cheerful help.
