For many years I struggled with bowel issues until eventually it was discovered that I had pre cancerous polyps which were very close to invading the bowel wall. I had surgery - subtotal colectomy. Some years on I developed gastroparesis.
I was extremely fortunate to be referred to Dr Adam Farmer and he arranged various tests over a period of some months, and I was diagnosed with CIPO. Having got a diagnosis it meant there were newer medications and treatments available to me. My family and myself are so grateful to Dr Farmer, we were always listened to and supported throughout, it made such a difference to be heard I can’t thank him enough for his help.
