Review of Podiatry - Southend General Hospital

We have seen Gillian the podiatrist twice now and her attitude and professionalism is excellent.
She is helpful with all aspects of treatment and has a very pleasant demeanour.
Suggested improvements
The only negative is the long wait to be seen after arrival.

The breast care team at Southend are incredible,from my diagnoses to surgery I have felt supported and listened to. It has always been easy to call and speak with a breast care nurse about any concerns I have had and they always respond with care,compassion and answer the questions you have getting back to you if needed.

Dr Eleti I just can’t recommend him enough.
The day surgery unit, especially the HCA Sarah, who took such good care of me when I had my mastectomy and the anaesthetist who told me he would keep me safe and listened to me when I said that I have problems with access to my veins and managed to get access in his first attempt (unlike an anaesthetist at another hospital who got cross because she couldn’t get access and told me it was my fault as I was tense after she had tried 4times

I came in as a day patient for gynae problems. My care was very good by all the staff and from my gynaecologist.

I was seen In the Breast Unit and was very satisfied with all of the care I received.
I was well looked after and everything was explained to me. I was able to ask questions and was given lots of helpful information. My operation was arranged quickly and I was very happy with the results.

A great service from the breast care team. All thorough tests were completed within 1.5hrs!! Amazing service, thank you for putting my mind at rest!!
