I was referred to the Duchy via my Medical Insurance. I got seen within 4 weeks (compared to the 2 year NHS wait). I have had an exceptional experience with Mr Justin. Our appointments did not feel rushed and time constrained which I have experienced with other doctors. He explored all options, discussed surgery and follow up steps etc. Mr Justin referred me for an MRI and I had my follow up with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he really cares for his patients. I have had such an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend him.

Really nice doctor actually listened to me. Made me feel at ease explained things well.
He took one Quick Look at my even pictures and had the whole thing worked out.

Mr Justin was very approachable, knowledgeable and friendly. He treated me with respect and answered all my questions. He calmed any fears I might have had. His colleagues and team members who treated me at the hospital were equally caring. I would certainly recommend him and I would have no hesitation in consulting him again if needed.

I can absolutely recommend Mr. Justin. I felt he had plenty of time to listen to my problems. He was kind, professional and explained the course of action I needed to follow to improve my personal situation. His advice was clear and I felt I could trust him. After instigating his advice, I found that my problems were greatly resolved and it really was a life-changer for me. Even though I explained to him how successfully I had followed his advice, he still made sure that I could contact him at any time in the future, if I had any further problems.
I really can't think of any way my experience with Mr. Justin could have been improved.

Mr Justin is a consultant gynaecologist with a special interest in advanced minimal access gynaecology, fertility and gynae oncology.
He obtained his medical degree from Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai, India. A passion for women’s health led him to pursue postgraduate training at one of the busiest medical colleges in India, Madras Medical College. He then completed his specialist training leading to CCT (Certificate of completion of training) under the London Deanery. He underwent a fellowship in infertility and assisted conception at the Centre of Reproductive Medicine at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. He developed a keen interest in minimal access gynaecology and underwent advanced training in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery by experts in the field. He underwent extensive surgical training by leading surgeons in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and India.
Mr Justin was appointed as a consultant gynaecologist with special interest in fertility and minimal access gynaecology at Southend Hospital in Essex in 2009. In 2016 he moved to take up a post at Harrogate Hospital where he specialises in minimal access gynaecology and is the lead for gynae oncology.
Mr Justin is a keen teacher of gynaecological surgery. He is an honorary senior lecturer at the Anglia Ruskin University and has taught on the MCh programme in minimal access and robotic surgery offered by the University. He is the supervisor for senior trainees who undergo the advanced training module (ATSM) in gynae surgery offered by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). He regularly teaches at various national and international courses and meetings. Mr Justin has published a number of papers in medical journals and book chapters in medical textbooks.
