I had a breast reduction surgery with Dr. Dave on 19/03/2023. I was referred to him at Wythenshawe Hospital through my GP after experiencing extreme discomfort, back pain, and rashes caused by the disproportionately large weight and size of my breasts. From the beginning, he put my anxious mind at ease and provided me with exceptional care. He was attentive to all my needs and took the time to explain the process to me in great detail. He never made me feel like any of my questions were too much, and his empathy was truly remarkable. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been under his care and would highly recommend him. I have also struggled with self-consciousness regarding my body being seen by medical professionals due to both my breasts and self-harm scars from my teenage years. However, Mr. Dave was incredibly respectful and considerate, consistently putting me at ease. His understanding and compassionate approach have made a significant difference in my experience. I am sincerely grateful and wholeheartedly recommend him for his exceptional care. Dr. Dave was transparent from the start, informing me about certain factors such as longer wait times due to COVID. He not only ran thorough tests before the surgery but also sent my breast tissue for examination, which was something I had concerns about. He reassured me and was thorough when delivering the results to me. During each appointment, he made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. On the day of the surgery, he once again explained each step to me, addressing my numerous questions and offering reassurance. The results he achieved were thoughtful, as he removed enough mass to alleviate the pain while preserving the structure and function of each breast as much as possible. Following the surgery, Dr. Dave visited me on multiple occasions to check in, and his presence filled me with confidence. He was kind, patient, and empathetic throughout the healing process. He provided thorough explanations and gave me resources to aid in my recovery, along with a range of contact numbers in case anything happened. As the weeks went by, I found myself healing excellently and felt reassured by the prompt responses from Dr. Dave's team when I reached out for support. After approximately 5 weeks, I had my final check-up with Dr. Dave and expressed my absolute delight with the results. I couldn't be happier. He has truly given me a new lease on life, free from pain and with a smooth experience. I am endlessly grateful for his attention to detail, including running tests before the surgery and sending my breast tissue for examination, as it alleviated my anxiety about undergoing surgery for the first time and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I will be honest when I first met Mr Dave and he gave me the awful news, my whole world was turned upside down. I didn’t see the person in front of me as I went into a state of shock. In hindsight and having met Mr Dave since I can honestly say he expresses such careful thoughts and is an articulate professional. He was able to say what was needed to make me well again and knew exactly how to do this explaining the chosen procedure to me. I had 1) a mastectomy and reconstruction on my left breast, 2) elevation of my right breast. Mr Dave made sure the incision across my breasts were the same to ensure they looked alike, 3) removed 4 lymph nodes. The operation went well, Mr Dave completed amazing surgery which I’m sure once the healing process is complete will leave very little scarring. I’d like to say thank you to everyone involved in caring for me, the nightingale staff and nurses especially my allocated nurse Gill, the theatre staff who really put me at ease before the operation and in particular Mr Dave for coming into my life to perform amazing surgery and consequently save my life. Forever grateful ❤️

From my first meeting with Mr Dave, my husband and I were impressed. In addition to being a very professional and highly knowledgeable doctor, Mr Dave also had the human touch. He knew exactly what I needed to get better and explained everything to me clearly and concisely in a friendly manner. Since my operation, I now know Mr Dave is also a highly skilled and experienced surgeon. My incision wound was very neat and I am sure my speedy recovery is partly due to his dexterity and experience as a surgeon. My scar looks like it will almost be invisible in the future. Mr Dave has always treated me with respect showing he cares for me as a person and not just another patient. No words can express the enormous gratitude for what Mr Dave and his team has done for me. "Thank you" seems inadequate but I'd like to say; "Thank you so much Mr Dave. I hope one day I can do something for you"

I was diagnosed with high calcium and was referred to Mr Dave. From the moment I met him he was detailed in his explanation and what was involved in the parathyroid surgery I was to have. On the day of my surgery nothing was to much trouble for him or the team involved. Should anyone be referred to him, then please be assured you will not get a more professional, articulate, considerate and decent man. I feel really lucky to have been under his care.

From the minute I met Mr Dave I knew I was in the best possible care. I felt so positive about my treatment due to the professionalism and the advice I received from him. Nothing was too much trouble. When I had a few questions about my operation Mr Dave made an appointment for me to come back to see him straightaway. I just felt at ease with everything that had been discussed. I had complete trust in everything he said and was never concerned at any point, which when you are going through something so life changing means so much. My surgery went extremely well. I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction and I am truly amazed at the results of the surgery. The incisions are perfect and healed without any infection. The breast nurses were there to answer any of my questions post surgery. I honestly can not thank Mr Dave enough. He and the team at The Nightingale and Wythenshawe hospital have saved my life and I do not have enough words to thank them. There is nothing that can improve upon the care I received from Mr Dave and his team. I have had nothing but praise for them, they are truly one in a million! Thank you for being a part of my journey I will never forget what you have done for me, and my family. You will all have a place in my heart forever.
