Mr Whitelaw removed my gallbladder at Spire Harpenden hospital. Beforehand he explained the procedure very well, what would happen on the day and what recovery would look like or potential complications could be. On the day of the surgery I felt very well looked after and everything went well. The scars are minimal and there was very little pain. The recovery has been great and I feel like a new person. Very happy with my care.

Mr Whitelaw is a very good communicator. He listed carefully before my examination and shared his initial thoughts. As it turned out, his diagnosis was correct and was verified by the ultrasound. I had been referred for a gallbladder removal, which would have been unnecessary.
