Having performed an amazing total knee replacement on my previously very damaged left leg, here we are one year later and you have done it again on my right leg. It doesn’t seem possible that the operation was only fourteen days ago, I am walking around now pain free and really looking forward to the future years. My left leg, one year on, feels as strong and normal as ever, and I am sure that in a few more weeks my right leg will be just the same. I am totally delighted with all that you have done for me and can’t thank you and your team enough. My legs are now straight and strong which has given me new confidence and ambitions. Hopefully I will not need your services again, but would like to wish you and your team continued success for the future. I would absolutely recommend you as a first class orthopaedic surgeon

I went to see Mr David Stock about the arthritis I was suffering in my big toe. He x rayed my foot and said I had a bone spur which needed removing. I asked him what the recovery time would be and he said 3 days and you would not need to wear a special shoe. Since then I have found out the recovery time is at least 3 months. I arrived at the hospital and met the physio therapist who came in to measure me for my shoe. I said Mr Stock said I did not need a shoe so she went and checked with him and confirmed I would be wearing a special shoe. I left hospital that day and have experienced excruciating pain since the operation. I was given no pain killers or pain management advice. I emailed his secretary to say how much pain I was suffering and she did not give me any advice just booked me in to see Mr Stock in 3 weeks time. I explained it was very painful and he advised me to have physio therapy. I did this and still no pain relief. I am having to go to my GP now to get painkillers and pain management advice. I would not recommend this surgeon as I feel I received no after care and was very much left to my own devices. He did not manage my expectations at all well re recovery time and pain.
