Since I was diagnosed with hip osteoarthritis Miss Tross has performed two successful hip replacement operations on me at 6-month intervals. The in-hospital experience was very positive, including anaesthesia as well as the surgery itself. I had no post-operative hip joint pain but I have had significant subsequent weakness and stiffness in the operated legs. However, as Miss Tross explained, the hip joint replacement surgery is only part of the story; ultimately a successful outcome also depends on a combination of subsequent physiotherapy and patient effort with regular prescribed exercise. On this basis, in my experience, it takes about six months to regain normal functionality following a single hip replacement operation. If two successive hip replacement operations are required, gradually being able to walk regularly on both operated legs without crutches is an important part of the recovery process. I had not realised the level of muscle weakness, arising from my preceding hip osteoarthritis, followed by the two hip joint replacement operations. which needed to be overcome.

I recently had a steroid injection for my trigger thumb by Dr Tross, she explained the procedure and any side effects. After receiving the injection my pain is ccompletely gone. Dr Tross is kind and a wonderful person. Thank you Doctor, job well done. Will definitely recommend you to all family and friends

I've had both knees replaced by Samantha Tross. The first operation was nine years ago, the second was seven. She is an outstanding surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner. She goes the extra mile to explain and give options for other treatments to help with pain relief.

Miss Tross is an excellent consultant that takes time to explain every detail of X-rays and the MRI that I had to have. Every single hospital appointment was an excellent experience with Miss Tross. I thank Miss Tross for all her time and effort she has taken with me.
