It was a pleasure working with Dr Mistry. He was excellent with the patients and staff. He was very approachable and always took time to listen when I had questions and explained things well for my own understanding and professional growth. In situations when I had requests and he was not in a position to help because it was not within his remit, he professionally pointed me to the right members of staff. This was very helpful and demonstrated good assertiveness, time management and professionalism on his part.

Dr Mistry treated me at an eating disorders inpatient unit. In a high stress environment with a wide range of medical needs, Dr Mistry was always a calming influence. He took the time to listen well, and communicated calmly and clearly. He is kind and clearly cares about patient welfare. His expertise in sports medicine was also very welcome, as this is sadly lacking in the NHS.

Dr Amit has been a great asset to the Phoenix Eating Disorder Service. He played an active role in reviewing bloods and ECG as well as communicated the results and suggestions to both GP/patients in the Close Monitoring Clinic Out-patient clinic. He has a kind and friendly approach and that makes him easy to work with. Overall; he showed a caring and compassion nature with regards to the patients he looked after. This is feedback by the patient he has assess and referred to the Community Liaison Team. The patient mentioned they felt listen to during the assessment.
