Very professional, caring and attentive staff. The are always ready to help and make the patient feel at ease. The clinic is very clean and well equiped. It is easy to find at the has a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. During our numerous visits there we have witnessed how patiently and respectfully the doctor deals with his staff. There seems to be great team-work going on there. Everybody is well-trained.

I have had surgeries on both of my eyes performed recently by Dr Zia Carrim of The Eye Clinic at Wellkin Hospital with their state-of-the-art medical technology and surgerical equipments (formerly known as Apollo Bramwell Hospital).
Before the surgeries the longsightedness of my left eye was 85% and the longsightedness of my right damaged eye was less than 10%.
After the surgeries, the longsightedness of the left eye has been optimized to 100% and the longsightedness of the right eye has been maximized to 90% and its shortsightedness has been optimized to 100%.
The successful outcome of the surgeries has exceeded my expectations. Now both of my eyes have improved substantially with much better vision and with more brightness, vivid & higher dynamic range in both the warm & cool spectrum with more buoyant colours.

From being offered an appointment at short-notice to being dealt with promptly and courteously by the staff at the Eye Clinic, my experience at the Clinic was a positive one. It was impressive to be able to receive treatment at the Clinic itself through the use of high-tech laser equipment which I understand to be at the cutting edge in its field.
One of the strengths of the clinic is its use of modern technology from the online appointment and review system to the type of treatment offered, the opportunity to gain further insights through Mr Carrim's LinkedIn and Facebook pages, all of which serve to differentiate the clinic and provide a further degree of reassurance to any prospective patient.

This Doctor is a real Gem. Thank God who blessed him with magical hands. I have visited relatives who performed eye surgery elsewhere, and believe me, their situation after the surgery was bad. But after Dr Zia Carrim performed the first surgery on my dad, the result was VERY worth seeing. No one simply believed he actually did eye surgery and came back home. After that, he performed surgery for the second eye, and the result was as good as the previous one. Simply magical, and awesome. He is a very good listener, knowledgeable and masters his profession so well. He knows how to put someone at ease and answers any questions or doubt one may have. Last but not least. I would like to thank him for his support and care. I wish him good luck in his profession as well as his private life. God bless him.

You would believe that such a well organised and efficient clinic would be available in Mauritius with international practice standards which I highly recommend to anyone who needs ophthalmological care.
