Hi, I didn't use Manchester - I did all this over the phone. The first person I spoke to was nice but they didn't explain I would need two consultations. So, when I had my first consultation with [name removed], I thought that was it. I felt very upset and anxious after and during my call with [name removed]. She interrupted me, she ran through everything far too fast and I felt sad and overwhelmed. I felt like I was just another name on her sheet to get through. She called the abortion a miscarriage, which I hadn't thought of before, and this was very upsetting. All in all, it was such a distressing experience I almost cancelled having another consultation. Thankfully, my consultation with Nurse [name removed] was a totally different experience. She was kind, calm and very empathic and she made me feel much better about my decision and how it would work taking the pills at home. Overall, I have had a mixed experience but I am pleased I spoke to [name removed] last. I think the first person I spoke to should have explained I would need two consultations so I could manage my expectations better.
