For those who take medical abortion, it would be better to offer them a scan after they take the medicine. Sometimes it is not easy to tell if the abortion is successful or not by simply observing the symptoms. To avoid some tragic consequences, for example, abortion failure and people need to do surgery way later, I would suggest that everyone who takes medicine abortion could be offered a scan afterwards.
