Every person I encountered treated me with the utmost respect and care. I was incredibly nervous and upset and this was met with compassion and comfort. Everything was explained clearly to me throughout my time at the clinic and I was treated with dignity.
I’d like to express particular thanks to [name removed], both for the aftercare provided (as this was really calming after being quite distressed after my procedure) and for my time with her the previous week during the completion of my consent forms when she explained the procedure, risks, chosen contraception and answered all of my questions. I’d also like to thank the 2 nurses in the treatment with me who showed exceptional kindness following the procedure as I came round. Everybody in the treatment room was incredibly compassionate and helped put me at ease.
The Bristol MSI clinic does a fantastic job of reducing any discomfort and worry. I couldn’t be more thankful to every member of staff.

I have had a horrific time with trying to make the decision to have an abortion. I have felt lost, confused and alone. Everyone at Marie Stopes have been so considerate and have made me feel safe and assured.
Having an abortion is something I never wanted to experience, however, I am glad that I had the help and care of Marie Stopes. Everyone was very considerate and made me feel safe.
