I was put on HRT as my body produces absolutely no oestrogen. After conceiving my 2nd child with assisted conception my pelvis fractured in several places. As one fracture healed I got another then another, in total I had 6 fractures. I was referred by orthopaedics to endocrinology who prescribed Femaston and I have never looked back. My hair was also thinning and falling out which was devastating. The Femaston fixed this too. I am fully aware of the risks that go with HRT but the benefits definitely outweigh the risks for me. I still suffer night sweats each month but no where near as bad as without the meds.
