Arcoxia takes my arthritic pain away. I have tried, without any success, on more than one occasion to be without this medication, but the intense pain returns in my hips in particular, but also in my other large joints, and my feet and hands/wrists. I suffer from mouth ulcers when taking this medication, which are quite sore and unpleasant, but I stop taking Arcoxia for a few days and then restart once the ulcers recede. It's the only way I can tolerate it. I am fully informed and aware of the risks of taking Arcoxia, but have annual blood tests for my liver functioning. Unless a better alternative is discovered that works for me, I am happy to continue using this medication.
