The service at this pharmacy is at times extremely bad and others fairly good. I have lost count the number of times I have been told that there is a considerable wait when the shop is empty, that my prescription has been taken and paid for only to be told that they do not have the medicine in stock and I'd have to wait a number of days, prescriptions dropped off for a later collection are rarely ever ready and most are done at the last minute, special orders for non-stocked medicine are rarely ordered at the time of processing resulting in more days waiting whilst they are re-ordered again. Other Lloyds in the Crawley area that are smaller stores yet service bigger communities seem to operate far more efficiently then this store, but they are a considerable distance away to be used regularly, The Ifield store appear, at times, to operate under an attitude of "we're the only local chemist so put up or shut up".

I ordered and paid for some medication I was then hospitalised and not able to collect pills for 4 weeks. Pharmacist was very rude upon collection of pills - I was lucky they were in gave me a test to do at home - upon opening had to have a doc present upon visit to doctor was told chemist should have performed it. Eventually done at chemist after 4 days other 15 hrs fasting. All staff quite rude and unhelpful will never use this chemist again.

Diabolical - put 3 prescriptions in at 5.25pm told half hour wait so I said I would come back at 6pm, trying to be helpful as several people already waiting. Left it until 6.05pm to go back, prescriptions not ready. Waited to 6.15pm, other people collected theirs so I asked about mine. Was told people waiting in store done first, if I had been told this I would also have waited in store! Prescriptions were in red baskets indicating I was waiting. Several people then still served before me, would seem I was penalised for (a) leaving store and (b) having several items on prescriptions and not everything available anyway and have to go back tomorrow! Never use store again.

I would expect that somebody working in a pharmacy would be able to recognise what is a contraceptive. Instead of automatically asking me if I pay for my prescription. Also, having to wait for 25 minutes when they are only 2 others customers in front me and when delivering my prescription only means picking up 2 boxes off a shelf is totally unacceptable.
