Problems ever time I go in. On the latest occasion I put my repeat for 10 items in and because one was unavailable for ordering they did not dispense anything.at all. After not receiving a text to say it was ready, I went in 6 days later to find what had happened ( as above ). Also the pharmacy was closed at first when I went in. A clock notice said they would open at 9.30...it was already 10.15 by then. I would say if one needed prescription meds in a hurry avoid boots in the Brecon Centre Eastbourne

Absolutely terrible service every time unfortunately due to blunt and rude staff. On multiple occasions medication has not been repeated. I dislike going every time, there is always an issue and I am told to come back at a later date. Staff are very keen to close the queue line around 20 minutes before closing.

Absolutely useless. I have hadmissed prescriptions as I'm on a few repeat prescriptions. I have to constantly chase them up and to make sure I get my medication on time. Most medicines are all out of synchronisation with the collections so I'm finding myself in there somewhere about 3 times a month. When I phone them they are very lax about answering the phone

well i have been on repeat medication for many years and going back some years i once had to stand over 2 hours on two occasions as they claimed they had not recieved my prescription so they were on the phone on and off during that time. And when i was told this at boots before ,and i went into grove road surgery they often told me that boots would have had it as it was sent to them. And i dont think its right when i phone up to see if my medication is ready i wait and wait and wait and when they finally answer they just switch it off dont even answer it its not good enough.i shall be phoning again in a minute to see if its time to pick up my medication.

Unfortunately my experiences with Boots pharmacy in Beacon shopping centre are ranging from frustrating to infuriating, from disappointing to upsetting. People, who are working there are ignoring everyone in a queue, seem confused about what they should do, the service is extremely slow, their organisation doesn't follow logical patterns, they don't care about patients or their wellbeing at all, further more, they don't seem to have basic knowledge. They really are a patronising and unprofessional bunch. The only reason, I chose them, is because of long opening times, but I will be changing now, I'm sick of them and their lack of care. For two months now I'm trying to get the correct medication, they say, it's unavailable which isn't their fault, of course, but I've been asking for available equivalent and every time, it is an hour spent there, waiting. Then someone gives me the name of the medication, I bring a new prescription two days later and it turns out it's also not available. Then the whole process starts again and again, and again. I've tried 6 times... I have no more energy to be ill! When I said to one of them, that there seem to be a larger, more serious problem, the "pharmacist" said she wouldn't worry about it too much. WELL, easy for her to say! She's not the one who can't get the needed medication! I think they really need to reorganize, perhaps take a course on importance of care, empathy and human approach in their profession. Also the pharmacies are gaining more attention as a first contact medical advisors of sorts, GPs encourage patients to speak to pharmacist about minor health problems first, but Boots team are untrustworthy. They behave like shop assistants. This needs to change, because, as it is, the pharmacy is failing in my eyes.

I am sick and tired of having to wait in a queue for ages just to collect my repeat prescription which has been made up and I have had a text to say is ready. BUT what annoys me mostly is the staff stand behind the counter doing who knows what, don''t even acknowledge that you are standing there , no such thing as saying i'll be with you shortly" , they don't even look up, it's as if you are invisible , they totally ignore you. I was first in the queue today ,there were two people behind the counter , I waited close to 10 minutes without any acknowledgement ( as usual) . I walked out in sheer frustration without my medication. . I have been a customer for more than 10 years and almost every month it's the same . Is it not possible that you can have a seperate section of the counter for collections only.? When there are no customers waiting to collect their medicine, the staff member can carry on serving others
