Really reluctant to help us and refused to even look at my son’s condition. Unfriendly and unhelpful will just be going straight to doctor in future as going to the pharmacy was a complete waste of time.

I called at the pharmacy at 11.00 to hand in a prescription for a fairly standard medicine, which as in stock. 2 pharmacists were on the counter dealing a modest queue. I was seen in a reasonable time but told to call back and join the queue again in 25 minutes to collect. I returned 30 minutes later to join a long queue with only one pharmacist dealing with it. It took a further 30 minutes to get to be seen. ( about 6 people ahead of me). No manager stepped in to reduce the queue that was forming, the pharmacist serving said there was only one manager in that Sunday for the whole store. The other non serving staff at the pharmacy, about 4 or 5, went about their business without regard to the queue growing. My small pharmacist next to my surgery deals with a busy workload far better, in a friendly and business like manner. I will avoid using Boots pharmacy in future.

Possibly the worst service ever. How can it take 4 days from prescription submission to the items appearing in store? It’s just a click away - it’s not rocket science. Not sure the staff know what they are doing and clearly in addition to training on how to order missing items when a prescription is received from a doctor’s surgery more customer faced training is absolutely indicated as a matter of urgency. When I questioned if this was an acceptable service - atrocious attitude and response from staff. Seriously Boots? You have to get a grip! Sort it out!

Put in an emergency prescription for an asthma pump by phoning NHS emergency line and they told me to collect from boots. I went here and the girl was so unbelievably rude who served me and asked for 'proof' that I use a salamol inhaler, despite having my details up. Never got one in the end from here and had to suffer for 2 nights with very bad asthma until it came through to my pharmacy. Will be writing about this to the head office. Absolutely disgusting people working at this branch. Avoid

I must say, I would hesitate to recommend this particular pharmacy. The main issue is that they often have difficulties keeping certain medications in stock. It's not uncommon to see customers being asked to come back days or even weeks later to collect their prescriptions. Unfortunately, I've experienced this inconvenience several times myself, which can be quite disruptive, particularly when you're undergoing ongoing treatment. Given this situation, I would generally opt to take my prescriptions elsewhere. My advice would be to choose a smaller pharmacy that can offer more personalised care for their patients. It is, after all, the responsibility of a pharmacist to ensure that they either maintain a stock of medications they know they will need to supply on a monthly basis to regular customers or strive to source them promptly when orders come in from the GP. I typically wait 48 to 72 hours after the day they receive the prescription, but even with this buffer, I often find myself being asked to return at a later date.

Thank you to Daisy at the No. 7 counter for going out of her way to provide me and my daughter with excellent support and advise. Will definitely be back. Thanks so much Daisy!

I was looking for the morning-after pill, the pharmacist put me in the queue, it was very busy, they told me I would be called in 20 minutes. Instead of waiting I left and came back, being on time, yet they said it'll take another 20 minutes. So I went to quickly buy food, this was around 3 pm. I came back and waited for an hour, the staff started looking at me with puzzlement, I didn't want to keep pestering them since it was busy. 20 more minutes passed I took it upon myself to join the queue and ask what was going on? However, apparently I wasn't there so they had taken me off, though the staff knew who I was since I was waiting in the chair for so long and we constantly exchanged eye contact, they should've told me, especially as urgent as the Pill that is not your everyday prescription and the fact I was practically there for the whole day till close. I asked if they could put me back on the list, unfortunately, it was closing time. They never gave me the pill and told me to go somewhere else. I'm really disappointed, imagine the sensitive topic that could make anyone panic, luckily I found a better pharmacy in time. As a worker from another pharmacy, please don't waste people's time.

I went to the boots pharmacy hoping to get the morning after pill. Understandably I was nervous, shy, embarrassed and scared about doing this as I had never before used emergency contraception before. The pharmacist I spoke to was judgemental and blunt, she made me feel awful about the whole thing. She then refused to give me the pill (for reasons I don’t feel comfortable sharing). Obviously I was distressed by this and had no idea what to do. Clearly upset, I asked her what I should do. She gave me rude, blunt and unclear advice and told me I had to leave. At this point I was so worried and lost and it was all down to the boots pharmacist giving me zero help and support in a time that was very distressing for me. I would not recommend this service for any women ever in this situation. It was horrible and made everything much worse.
