Catherine is very open minded and from her first visit gave me a discreet scaffolding of support, she has a mature acceptance and ability to modulate the mind and process uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. This I found this gave way to a much better acceptance of myself and helped me be more resilient.

Catherine was very caring and sympathetic to my needs. She listened to all my problems and helped me understand why I felt the way I did. When she first visited me I was very depressed and seemed to have nowhere to turn or anyone to go to except my wife who I was gradually dragging her down also. She helped me significantly! I honestly don't know what I would have done without her visits and ongoing support. I would recommend her care and visits to anyone without hesitation. An excellent carer.

I am 84 years of age and had no knowledge of this wonderful service. I understand the need to fill in reviews by ticking the boxes but numbers do not add up to the care and help I received from Catherine. It is on record that I was not in a very good place mentally but with Catherine's help I am gaining my self confidence slowly but surely. Joan Smith. Reigate, Surrey.

Catherine was introduced to me after a major operation as I was going through a very difficult time after leaving hospital. Her home visits and her cheerful personality and words of wisdom gave me inspiration and now I'm pleased to say that I am well on the road to recovery. I recommend her to anyone that is having a difficult time after a stay in hospital. Many thanks to NHS for selecting this type of lady who is very patient and caring about her career. John Sherwill

Catherine was an invaluable part of my stay at Caterham dene hospital. Her input and support allowed me to work much better with the physios and without these services running alongside each other I don't feel I would have made the same progress. I continue to use the techniques daily to manage my care at home and has resulted in me overcoming my fears and venturing out to the local area.

She ensured that I settled in from my transfer from Caterham Dene hospital to home and that the subscribed anti-depressants were working and the right strength. She also arranged for information relating to care and general matters relating to my disability to be sent to me. Her visits were reassuring.

Catherine listens patiently and responds honestly. She makes me feel that my feelings are important to her and that she is working with me to help me through these times where I am not "myself". I believe with her help I can eventually return to my former positive state of mind.

Catherine is a very kind and thoughtful person. She is a very good listener and never judges. She encourages you and compliments you when you are doing well. I am very grateful that I met Catherine.
