I was seen by Dr. Simran Prabhakar. What an amazing and caring Dr. She made me feel comfortable, treated my wound and even helped to get me a bag to carry things home. Triage nurse - I wish I caught her name was as kind as the Dr. Thank you for helping me

I would just like to say that my partner and I had a very good visit to your Diagnostic Centre today on 5 April 2026. The receptionist was nice, friendly and efficient. The efficiency of all staff was excellent. My partner Derek Baxter was taken in for an MRI scan 15mins before his appointment time of 17.40pm. The staff provided a very efficient friendly and pleasant service. Very well done South Tyneside. I and.my partner were very impressed. The provision of the water cooler and clean toilets were very much appreciated. Thank you so much.

I was taken to A&E on Sunday 22:02:26 after having a bad accident. The staff attended to my needs efficiently and conscientiously . I am very grateful for the care and attention that I received. Dr Charlotte Thomas the speciality registrar was so caring and stitched my head up with skill and expertise. I will be forever grateful. A special thank you to Carole the cleaning operative . My mother was on Ward1twice in a short space of time on both occasions the staff were friendly professional and approachable they demonstrated empathy and understanding towards her .This appears to be a well led and managed team as all staff roles demonstrated the trustsValues and Behaviours to all patients.As a relative I was kept notified of the situation throughout.This staff group are a shining example of excellent practise and communication. Thank you

I was in pain and distress I didn't get pain relief as someone reckoned they were told I hop from hospital to hospital for pain relief I don't I would rather die than have lies like that told about me this is the last time I will be in pain it will stop but they will say opportunity missed condolences to my loved ones

Every single member of staff was fantastic during numerous admissions I had last year, from a&e to the wards (3&5). So caring and conscientious, nurses and Dr's. Just completely dedicated to their jobs and providing the best care and help to patients.

Would say its one of best hospitals in north east if not best Staff really good cheerful do anything they can to make u feel comfortable food good menu good telly enjoy my stay in there can’t say bad word about it

A lovely local hospital with very helpfull staff

Went in for a cardio version, petrified is the word the hole of the staff put me at ease, and the care and professionalism is 100 percent.

Everything about it was good I don't have any complaints.
