The care and information received has been fantastic, also when there was a slight issue with baby's movements I was seen the same day which was great as put my mind ease. Only issue I have is the antenatal classes, when I phoned to book they were all fully booked, yet I was advised to book at 28 weeks and the lady on the phone said people book in advance and when they find out they are pregnant. I feel that maybe stopping mothers booking onto them until they are 28 weeks will give other mothers the chance to be on them as I now have to do an online course or ring Bridgenorth or Oswestry to see if they have spaces if I wish to attend in person
The care for both of my pregnancies before and after has been amazing at all times.
Myself and my baby's have been extremely well cared for in the Oswestry midwife led unit.
I felt safe at all times and I received all the advice and I felt safe at all times and I received all the advice and help I need with my new born. Nothing was ever too much trouble, any time of day or night.
I'm looking forward to sharing my next pregnancy with all the staff at Oswestry. So far I can't think of any improvements.
My community midwife, Helen, was extremely supportive throughout my pregnancy and was always more than willing to help me and answer my questions. I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my pregnancy.
My booking in appointment, which was not carried out by my community midwife, was detailed however it would have been helpful if more would have been explained about future appointments and which appointments I would need to book myself and which were automatically booked. As this was my first pregnancy, this was not clear to me.
Midwives have been very supportive and available when required
All care brilliant lots information given all question's answered :-).
Very personable.
Kind caring friendly.
Lovely, caring staff. Clean and spacious facility.
All of the members of staff have been lovely, polite and helpful. I've been left to feel they have taken their time and not rushed my care. I am very pleased with the service I have received over my stay.
The only thing I'd say to improve is more replenishing of cold water- as the rooms were hot.
Everything is fabulous. Though, I do think more staff would lighten the workload on the current staff.
Also, I think the triage could really do with a printer and a ward clerk. Where information could just be printed, they had to write by hand.
The waiting area.
