I can say that the breast care team at City Hospital, based in the Birmingham Treatment Centre are amazing.
They have held my hand during bandage changes/ wound care.
From when I was 1st diagnosed in August 2023, I can't fault the staff.
They are so caring, I have never met any staff like the nurses and consultants in the breast cancer unit.

More worried I felt at home, the safer I felt once I was in the hospital, at the hands of all the doctors, nurses & surgeons. They took a very good care of me after my arm was broken. I had an instant attention, treatment, operation & care throughout my stay in hospital. Also provided with an after care at home by a carer. I want to thank the entire hospital staff who were involved.
Only I had an issue with an ambulance service. Due to the shortage of the service, despite my previous disabilities, I was not taken to hospital sooner enough. I wish, NHS can improve this service & have more availability of the ambulances.

I had an operation here recently and I was looked after so well by all the different staff involved. Almost everyone was friendly and helpful and the care I received before during and after was excellent, thank you.

My consultant Miss Javeria Iabal and her nursing staff at the breast clinic and through my surgery were wonderful.

Breast unit staff are very caring and the whole experience in the hospital are very organised, I feel I’m in the safe hand, I came to hospital for appointments and for my operation all by myself, I feel I have been treated with professional and with caring support. It was a hard difficult time for me, I am very grateful to city hospital breast unit team. Thank you

Absolutely fantastic care by all the doctors and nurses and I think city hospital is absolutely brilliant quick service I could not fault it absolutely brilliant especially Dr Miss Javeria Iqbal. I would recommend it to my family and friends.
