I am sick to death of receptionists, and Drs who play god. Since when has your behind counter staff, become qualified medical experts, able to dictate a patient's medical dilemma, and whether or not, they are deemed worthy of getting proper care, and medical advice. Since when has the government banned a face to face appointment, with an actual Doctor, when needed?
- Retrain your receptionists, not only to answer the phones when they are ringing, but also to refrain the from thinking they are capable of medical decisions, and deciding a patient's fate. If the surgery is far too busy for them to do so, (as they claim), I suggest you employ, more staff, to do the job properly, and stop potentially putting people's lives at risk. Covid is not an excuse, for unprofessionalism, reduced care, or indifference towards your patients.

This would be a 5 star review all around, but for the fact you can't book appointments in advance and when booking on the day it can be stressful trying to get an appointment. This is not necessarily the surgery's fault because the staff there look after you extremely well.
