In all honesty I cannot think of a way to improve on the excellent service we receive from the Alton Practice.The appointment system in use works remarkably well. We can always get an appointment either the next day if an early call is made to book or on occasion a couple of days.If the need is urgent almost always the same day at the end of morning surgery.The surgery is clean bright and the reception staff are always polite helpful and efficient.As a general rule the Dr will see us punctually and will listen carefully before explaining in a clear manner what he thinks the problem is, what medication will help or if need be he will write a letter of referral to a Consultant.They also have a nurse for Asthma/respiratory checks/Flu jabs/blood pressure/etc.I hear usuch bad reports in general from people about being unable to get an appointment from other GPs I think the Alton practice should be used as a model as there are only three Drs but we almost always see our own Dr and have a great faith in his care advice and ability and not least the fact that he knows all our medical history. To say we are satisfied is an understatement. Hope this will be of some help to you

I have been a patient for over 30 years and found the practice top rate as I am a pensioner I have suffered with several illmesses over the last few years and found the referrals to hospitals extremely good also if you telephone at 09:00 in the morning you get an appointment the next day I can only praise the Alton practice as first class

able get an appointment the same day usually or call by 9am the day before otherwise. surgery spotlessly clean. reception staff kind ,helpful and responsive. all gp's excellent

I like the fact I can book an appointment with GP for the next working day as long as I call between 0845-10.00 in the morning. Even outside this booking time I have managed to see GP often the next day. Never had a problem seeing a GP on the same day for emergency. The doctors are really helpful and considerate. Thank you to the Alton Practice for seeing me as a person and giving me fantastic health care service for the last 20 years.

an excellent surgery that has been my doctors for over 30 years. spotlessly clean surgery. easy to get an appointment. helpful and caring receptionists. totally recommended especially dr alissa.
