This is the worst doctors surgery I've ever been to. The locums are a disgrace and rude. The reception staff are rude and don't apologise when they or their doctors make mistakes and try and blame the mistake on you. Reception are inflexible to people with chronic health conditions. Hae had 3 mistakes made on my mums behalf over the last 4 months. 2 of which could have cost her her life. Avoid like the plague

Suggested improvements
  • Train your staff to listen to their patients, double check that doctors have prescribed the right medicine. Stop employing crappy locums and train your receptionists to apologise when doctors make mistakes rather than trying to blame the patients. U should screen your locums once a month to make sure they are not rude or giving the wrong info to the patient. They told me my mum didn't need an increase in thyroid meds when she did, I pushed back but was told that I was wrong. The doctor lied to me because I questioned her authority. When I brought it up with my mums cardiac surgeon she told me the doctor was wrong and my mum did need an increase in meds urgently. I have a long term condition and having to try and get any kind of decent service is infuriating. Honestly read your reviews on google for how little people in Ashford think of your service Also put the email address for complaints on your website. I don't want to wait an hour to call and have your rude receptionists tell me it when it should be freely available for anyone who wants to look up the complaints procedure .. Telling people to contact x person but not providing how to contact them or giving an email is what I would expect with the total lack of communication at this surgery...

My daughter recieved outstanding care at the G.P Surgery this morning. Dr Usmani was very thorough and administered the correct treatment in a caring but professional manner. We were fitted in for emergency treatment so to prevent my daughter needing to be admitted to A&E. The receptionists are always polite and helpful. I have always been able to get an appointment on the day that it is needed and although it can be difficult to get through to make an appointment at 8 a.m i have always been able to get one.
