St James Medical Practice

Reception staff are pretty good, but management staff do their best to put people off from seeing their GP when they get the opportunity. The website is bloody awful. Impossible to contact the surgery, contact the doctors or get them to contact you back. The website particularly is the worst thing about the place. They'd save SO much clinical time if this was improved making it easier for people to get in touch and have a dialogue. No interest in research it would seem. They want to abandon the current site and relocate outside the town so they can get the CCG/NHS to pay for the upgrade of the place. NOBODY who is a patient or carer wants this. LOTS of local opposition but they appear unwilling to listen, yet next door there is a HUGE almost empty building going begging. They pretend they want to move because of parking issues but there is loads of parking around the area and I've never been there when there are absolutely no places at all. Within 5 minutes walk there is a multi-storey, lots of on street parking and loads of parking bays begging. Times are changing. I remember when GPs put their patients before their annual bonuses.
