They are negligent, incompetent, and they will endanger you health with absolutely no consequences. The receptionist staff are rude with an attitude problem, never apologise for anything the surgery get wrong, the same issues happen repeatedly with repeat prescriptions, partial proscriptions being sent to pharmacy (why?) leaving me in withdrawal, 40 minute wait on the phone to talk to them, even though it says your caller number one, they encourage you to use their app instead, but sometimes you need to explain in detail so have to either phone or go in person. Appointments are often cancelled but they don't inform you of this before it! The worst Is they are well aware of all of these issues because other people have written review to say similar things on Google which the surgery practice manager has replied to and nothing changes.

Suggested improvements
  • 1. Sort out phone system 2. Either train your receptionists to be atleast civil to people or sack them. I'm sorry they are bored working there but that's not the patients problem 3. Investigate why so many people have problems with proscriptions being issued incorrectly and again, either sack the incompetent proscribing doctor involved or train them. It's too serious an issue to ignore your putting patients lives at risk. Investigate and actually do something about it. 4. If an appointment is cancelled by surgery they MUST inform the patient of that fact before their appointment, not when they arrive on crutches at the surgery, with no apology.

Phoned at 8.45am to get a call back from a GP. Receptionist said I'd be called within 2 hours and have a call from the Gp in the afternoon. 1.45 I called asking what had happened to be told - exactly like last week's experience - that I was next on the list to be called. 2.45 I called again as still no call back. This time I was told a GP would call me between 3 30pm and 5.30pm. I had my phone with me all day to finally get a call back at 5.20pm!! All day!!! The staff have no idea what they're doing. Messages between staff get lost. Referrals don't happen. Promised calls don't happen. So much chasing involved with this inefficient surgery it's untrue.

Suggested improvements
  • You can try answering the phone when it's ringing and you're sitting there having a laugh with your colleagues! Do what you promise to do. Respect your patients and aim for at least some efficiency.

appts with doctors never available. See doctor's assistant who misdiagnosed me twice and one neighbour once. Toilet s not clean, Broken toilet, pedal bin not working. receptionists not pleasant, prescriptions never, ever filled on time. Calls never returned. Why does this place exist? They offer NOTHING. Please someone invstigate this practice.

Suggested improvements
  • Sure. Put another practice in its place. There is no way they can improve, they are total below any acceptable bar.

A disgusting place, not only incompetent but they potentially will put your health in danger. The GP's themselves are ok, but you'll never get an appointment in person. like others have mentioned it's the reception staff that are the problem. The don't follow up anything whether it's by email, phone or online. They also need to be trained how to speak to people with respect.

Suggested improvements
  • Try employing respectful staff with some experience not jumped up 20 year olds with an attitude that should be working at KFC not putting people heath in danger.

A horrid experience when thinking about, or going to Randolph Surgery. Maida Vale. W9. Reception isn't functioning properly. Phone calls and emails aren't answered. That means a patient has to travel in person for anything. Reception has too much of a youth club atmosphere which creates flippancy. It makes patients feel insecure and unimportant. It's the complete opposite of the disposition a practice should be creating. Reasons?....Years of complaints have been allowed to build up without proper management to improve the functioning of reception. It means staff have become ingrained from continuing complaints and the practice will continue to deteriorate!! The PPG comes across as a clever buffer to soak up patients irritations to allow the practice carry on the same old way.

Suggested improvements
  • A HUGE injection - made up of the following - is badly needed....GRAVITAS, URGENCY, RESPECT!!!!

Awful surgery. Reception area full of admin people who chitty-chat with each other and are totally incompetent.and don't answer phones. Impossible to get an appointment. Not even sure if there is a fully qualified doctor at the surgery. Have never heard or seen one. The loo is not clean. It takes ages to get prescriptions. If you are lucky enough to see a nurse and get a blood test you will never see the results. Just go somewhere else and don't waste your time.

Suggested improvements
  • Get competent admin staff. Get fully qualiefied doctors. If you can't do that you really shouldn't exist.

I have been very impressed by the quick response to my health problems ( I had Covid 19 in November and was put in touch with the Covid Assessment Centre who monitored me ) and have found Dr Rafique very helpful more recently when I have been struck by Trigeminal Neuralgia.

Suggested improvements
  • I have no suggestions

Go somewhere else. So far they sent my blood for the wrong tests, are delayed by at least 30 minutes each time I have an appointment and for how many reception staff they have they can’t get anything done. Also they just gave me someone else’s MatB1 form with all of their personal information - didn’t even check it. Just don’t bother.

Clean surgery. Nice Reception and staff. Awful doctors. Do not want to refer to specialists or prescribe medicines . Just want to know if you have private insurance and want you to buy all over the counter drugs. Not very pleasant bedside manner. Possibly incompetent. In two cases totally wrong diagnosis. Stay as far away as possible from this surgery. Go anywhere else.
