I couldn’t get greater care anywhere, than at Orchard End Surgery. From the doctors, nurses and receptionists they have all been brilliant.

My parents are new to the surgery. They are very happy there. They feel well looked after and like the way the staff know them by name already. They also think it is great buying and changing books there. What a lovely idea rather than a long trip to the library.

I have been a patient for just over a year and love it. The doctors have a gentle manner and the staff are all friendly. Sometimes it is difficult to get through on the phone but I fully appreciate they are very busy and whatever I do get seen or at least can talk to a doctor on the phone. The nurse is helpful too they are a kind caring practice and I am happy to have them.

I have been a patient a while now so i have seen some changes. The reception staff are always friendly on arrival and departure. The Doctors are very friendly and always make me feel relaxed and not rushed. The new Sister is lovely she always runs to time and makes you feel special like you are the only patient that matters and she is so friendly and listens. The pharmacy ladies always get your medicines really quick and the new practice manager has a presence about the surgery which is nice to see. I feel everyone is like a family and as a patient im honoured to be part of it thank you.

Doctors should not sit yawning whilst you are seeing them find it really rude Being closed half day is an inconvenience how can a surgery run on four and a half days Classical music in waiting room is not everybody's cup of tea, feel like your sitting in a morgue Nurses need retraining on how to take bloods, if they cannot do it don't blame the patient like its there fault Trying to get an appointment is a pain, as is book on the day and trying to get through on the phone

I'm am lucky enough not to have to visit the doctors very often. However when I have I have always had to wait 30/40mins for my appointment slot as the surgery, in my experience, always runs late. But with this in mind the doctors are usually very thorough when you do finally go in and you don't feel rushed. The doctors have always been very good with the children. The surgery is clean, receptionist were polite and I haven't had a problem getting an appointment except the phoning on the day for that day is very inconvenient, as is the two hours closed in the afternoon. It does seem to be the thing that the Doctor asks the patient "what do you think the problem is?" I never find that reasuring, if I've gone to the doctors it's a last resort because I don't know what the problem is.....but that's just my opinion.

The doctors have always given great care, as have the nurses. My biggest problem has been booking appointments. It is frustrating that I cannot book for the next day but have to ring up at 8:30am on the day - right as I am trying to get four children out the door to school. The doctors have always phoned me back when the surgery is triaging so that is good.
