Told to phone at 8.3O on hold for 8 minutes to then be cut off . Phoned back to be told by an arrogant member of staff there’s no appointments left . Tell her how long as was on hold for to be told the phone company is looking into it . Not helpful for me when I’m ill and needing medical attention. There is no need whatsoever for them to speak to people like they do .

The receptionist are very rude ! They are not supportive at all! When you call for an emergency request they tell you the doctor is dealing with more important things. The customer service is poor.

They have a so called system, that really does not work, It may work for them,, It certainly does not work for the community I hear complaints all the time, in that you have to call at 8 30 to get a telephone appointment but buy the time you get through....one day at 8 35 all telephone appointments gone ...and yet when you manage to get an appointment you go into an empty waiting room cant understand it, or perhaps I can,3 or 4 doctors at that practise The receptionists are so dammed rude, and if you ask a question....they don't even look at you just automatically growl. The caring sharing face of the community, I think not

Practice is running with limited staff, which I understand, but there is zero level of empathy towards patients and what they experience. I joined this GP practice in November 2021 and will be changing practice ASAP.

Receptionists think they own the surgery and all have a medical degrees. Ask to have a particular GP call only to have a locum call and not understand your medical needs.

Good GP practice. Nursing staff excellent. Receptionists bit too much attitude at times and can come across quite rude although sometimes justified. Must come up with a better appointment system.

There’s one particular receptionist, an older lady who is absolutely beyond rude. I went to collect a prescription the other day she shoved it through the window while completely ignoring me to the point where she was turned away from the window and was having a conversation with a colleague. Let me reiterate she never turned to face me once, she never acknowledged me in any way at all I might just as well have been invisible. Non of the receptionists are overly friendly (at least not toward me), but this woman is always rude to me when I go there. I am beginning to think that she has a problem with me personally. If you chose to work in a job that requires you dealing with members of the public, irrespective of what problems you may have....you still have a duty to be professional at all times. As a patient who is disabled I find it really insulting to be treated like dirt by this utterly horrible member of staff.

Went to see next available doctor for a government referal for my podiatrist ,have been told on previous visits not all doctors can write the referal so i said i would like to see someone that could help me. This is where the drama started sent down the bottom to the right of the practice to see katie she decided to have a long chat to the clinical nurse for about half an hour walked passed me three times and smiled. so with that i walked back to the desk and told the girls i did not want to see her i was so humiliated by her actions. Well ok there are two patients in front of you .NO PROBLEM. Next minute staff and Dr have a little chat and put me to the bottom of the list. SPENT OVER ONE HOUR THERE.
